C. 1903-1905 cotton and lace shirtwaist decorated with embroidery. The yoke is made up of diagonal panels of lace to the bust, and the rest of the shirt is decorated with embroidered with springs of evenly spaced flowers.. Lace cuffs decorate the cuffs of the three-quarter sleeves. A cotton twill waist tape is sewn to the back waist of the shirt, which can be tied to the front to give the shirt a disintint pigeon bodice shape, or leave the waist tape untied for a flowy ethereal look. Several shell buttons run up the back of the shirt, and a single hook and eye closure small of the back waist.
